From two founders and one laptop in 2019 to a 45-person team at Smart Village: 2019 — founded in Cairo; 2021 — first enterprise ERP shipped; 2022 — MatterPOS launched, first SaaS product; 2024 — first clients in KSA, Germany and the UK; 2026 — four SaaS products, 120+ projects, clients in six countries.

Mahmoud and Sara spent a decade building software for banks and retailers — and watching good projects fail for predictable reasons: unclear scope, no demos, surprise invoices. MatterTech is the company they wished existed: fixed quotes, weekly demos, code you own, and engineers who stay past launch day.

Six years in, the numbers tell the story: 120+ projects delivered, 85+ active clients across six countries, and four of our own SaaS products serving hundreds of Egyptian teams.
